Ky holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from Texas Christian University. He is a member of the Dallas Society of Visual Communication. His work has been recognized with awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Art Directors Club of Houston, the College Media Advisers, DSVC Student and Professional Show, ADDYs Dallas and AIGA DFW.

Ky was the editor-in-chief of TCU’s award-winning Image magazine from 2007-2008, where he managed writers, photographers, designers and editors.

In 2008 Ky graduated from TCU and moved to Dallas where he started as a designer at Reinhardt Creative. Because Reinhardt Creative was managed and run by the designers Ky was able to work closely with clients and his creative director/principal of the agency. He developed communication; design and production skills that would help fuel his career. He also learned what it takes to start your own design shop as a designer.

Ky left Reinhardt in 2011 and started as an Art Director at MasonBaronet. At MB he learned to work with a larger team and internal processes that would help him manage his projects. He worked mostly with B2B clients and learned what it took to create successful communication pieces for very specific targets.

In 2012 Ky discovered another opportunity and moved to Commerce House to start as a Senior Art Director. Ky worked with a large creative and account team to develop national and local advertising, web, branding and packaging projects. His main clients were Samsung, Texas Health Resources and Dallas' Museum Tower. Commerce House is a full service shop that gave Ky additional experience in out of home advertising and broadcast media.
Near the end of 2016 Ky was offered the chance to step into something new and began work as Senior Art Director at The Infinite Agency. There he's found experience in social media marketing, activations and online campaigns. At Infinite he has also had the opportunity to work on clients such as, ZiegenBock, Michelob Ultra, Bud Light, ESPN and Twin Peaks, along with multiple startup and non-profit companies.
Ky lives in Dallas with his wife Celeste and their dog Penny Lane.
